Livelihood security/Natural Resource management
Tribal Foundation has organized Training cum orientation programme for 500 farmers on NRM under Mohanpur panchayat about their local resources and their optimal uses and development. Land/Water Management , Significance of organic compost, Importance of Agriculture and Horticulture were well stressed. Repairing of water resources (10 well and 5 ponds) are completed in 10 villages in Mohanpur Bock of Deoghar District. PUMP SETs were given to the farmers for promotion of irrigational facility. Established 01 Seed Bank in the project location to make 500 families able for the utilization of their land as well as this will minimize the burden of crop loss. Two hundred 30x40 Models are proposed in the current year for preserving the right level of moisture under land / water treatment . A comprehensive training programme for farmers of Kisan Club was conducted on soil & water conservation . Tribal Foundation has taken special majors for the sustainability of these interventions also by involving the community.
