Kisan Samittee
10 Kisan samittee in each project villages have been formed. The total number of members in the formed Kisan Samittees are 200 members out of this 10 kisan Samittees two kisan Sangh are formed . This is like the federation of the formulated Kisan Samittees to provided support and lead them. For the capacity development of the Kisan Samittees members different training on agriculture practices and soil & water conservation are to be taken up in forthcoming months.
For the sustainability of agriculture and food security one seed bank has been established in the project area . The seed bank is supposed to supply quality seeds of vegetable and major crops to the deserving & willing farmers at reasonable prices , whereas the grain bank will provide grains for consumption in acute shortage of the beneficiary households.
